Misty woodlands, wild meadows & gathered flowers
Oil and mixed-media paintings by Julia Anne Taylor: quiet places to wander into, painted in soft layers of light, bramble and blossom.
“Sometimes life presents some challenging times, but I can get lost in my art and feel the peace and beauty in it.”

Wander through the work
113 paintings from 2017 to today, gathered into four families.
Fresh off the easel
New work, bolder colour
Julia's recent paintings layer oil with mixed media: drips of colour, gold leaf, stencilled texture and teal grounds, with the same soft-focus blossom and bramble that runs through all of her work.
Many of these pieces are shown first at the Society of Fulham Artists & Potters exhibitions in south-west London.
